Search Engine Marketing Blog by ineedhits: Google Releases iGoogle for iPhone

Google has released a version of iGoogle, their personalized home page, for the iPhone and other mobile devices.

iGoogle for the iPhone brings in Gmail and Google Search along with RSS subscription feeds, weather maps and stock reports, plus much more.

The new iPhone interface is a step up from Google's previous offering of a mobile specific page at google.com/m which only offered limited customization options.

The iPhone lists all feeds and gadgets in one convenient, single-column format that fits your iPhone's display and you can select individual tabs at the bottom of the page.

You can locate the new version at http://google.com/ig/i. There is still a limited amount of space for gadgets on the page, so you'll need to be selective.

Also, this new Google feature is only available in the USA thus far, so everyone else will have to wait a little bit.
